I grew out of “I never text first” phase, since I realized nothing was wrong with showing someone, you care about them more than your pride

Everyone needs to grow out of the “I never text first phase” sooner rather than later.

In friend groups there is always someone who is always initiating the conversation with everyone they know. It is utterly exhausting, and it leaves them feeling like the friendship would not continue if they weren’t putting in the effort. Do them a favor and start the conversation first for once. It means something.

me, a feminist: it’s important to support m/f ships where she is smarter and overall more badass than him yet he supports her and loves her for her capabilities and not despite them throwing toxic masculinity right out the window.

Maybe the real problem is we don’t have enough F/F or healthy F/M relationships so we feel like we have to choose

Chad: And that’s the hot topic right now in the community – is that just a like, friendship support hand-holding or is that alluding to giving something that one of the most vocal shipping fanbases has asked for?

I am so freaking excited about this! Like I love the whole crwby team but because the bees… Barbara and Arryn are like so amazing.

To have Barbara basically confirm Bumbleby was planned from the start. That it was planned in the holy RWBY Tomb of Monty’s. That’s more than any of us could have asked for.

QUESTION:

“Is that just a like, friendship support handholding or is that alluding to giving something that one of the most vocal shipping fanbases has asked for?”

BARBARA’S ANSWER

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I will say that a lot of stuff in RWBY has been planned since the very beginning. So, while some people read into things and think fan reactions might have influence, some things could be planned from the beginning.”

In the above context, answering directly after that question I think it’s probable that she was talking about Blake and Yang’s relationship and how although many blame the canon Bumbleby (Yeah boi) on the vocal fans of the ship, it was actually Monty’s plan all along.

That and the fact that there are soooo manny parallels to the Beauty and the Beast with Yang, Adam and Blake, going as far back as volume 1, the trailers… I think it would be reaching for anyone to say Bumbleby is going against anything Monty wanted or that it was only confirmed to appease the demanding fans.

And her favourite part, more than seeing the episode, is seeing us all freak out about it.

“Oh my God, they hold hands?”

^^ She is so adorable.

I’M TOO EXCITED TO EDIT MY VIDEO TO NOT SHOW THE TOP BAR OF MY PHONE BUT IM NOT SORRY (I kind of am)

what she says: I’m fine

what she means: the miseducation of cameron post (a drama about lgbt youth enduring conversion therapy, written and directed by Iranian bisexual woman Desiree Akhavan and based on a novel by a lesbian, starring several openly gay actors) won the Sundance grand jury prize 2018 aka the highest award for one of the most major film festivals in the world out of OVER ONE HUNDRED OTHER FILMS but still wasn’t able to get a good distribution deal because society is terrified of female sexuality and also refuses to validate any lgbt story which has the audacity to portray straight/cis people as the irredeemable abusers they are
